There are 7-elevens and Circle Ks all over the place. I don't think we have any in NYC? Maybe one 7-eleven. There are convenience stores everywhere! Which is convenient when you are walking around for hours on end and need a refreshment. But 7-eleven? In Kyoto? it just struck me as odd.
